Brecon Motors is one of the oldest automative names in the Brecon area with the business first appearing in the early 1900s. Run by Jonathan Williams for the past thirty years, with daughter Sara joining ten years ago, this is a real independent family business – no wonder Brecon Motors has been around for more than a century.
From the outside Brecon Motors may seem like an ordinary car dealership, but with over a hundred years of customer service under its belt you can bet that there’s a lot more to the business than meets the eye.
Before the collapse of the MG Rover business in 2005, Brecon Motors was the original franchise holder in the area for many years, thankfully these wonderful cars saw a rebirth shortly after its apparent demise when the Chinese company Shanghai Automotive’purchased the MG brand a year or so later. During this time Brecon Motors moved to providing the people of Brecon with the best range of used cars available and, after a period of success for the born-again MG marque, they were able to once again pick up the franchise and, since 2014, have been offering the latest models from the ever growing brand, the most recent of which will be launching this year!
In addition to the used car sales, plus being a franchise holder for one of the biggest car companies in the world, Brecon Motors also offer car rentals; established in 1996, the company offer an ever expanding eet of vehicles to rent that range from small cars, 9 and 17 seat minibuses, small/medium/large vans, and Luton vans with tail lifts.
To support new and used car owners they have a service and repair workshop for cars of all makes and models, an MOT testing station, air conditioning re-gas facility and, nally, a brand new self storage site in Brecon, offering 20ft secure storage containers with caravan storage also available!
Brecon Motors has been around for a very long time and it is easy to see why. This family business offer a thoughtful and caring service that is incredibly helpful, no matter the vehicle trouble you may be in.
