What are you planning for the festive season?
On Mondays to Saturdays throughout December we’re offering fabulous Christmas parties which include a cocktail on arrival to get the party started, followed by a delicious 3 course meal comprising a first course, Christmas dinner and dessert in our beautiful restaurant for £28 per person. Also, we’ll be open for residents over the Christmas break – we have a three day Christmas Feast package for those looking to celebrate the festive season in style. The cost of £499 per person (sharing a double/twin room) includes dinner, bed and breakfast for the three nights plus mulled wine. We will open again for non-residents on the 27th to 30th December.
That sounds perfect. And we understand you have your own vineyard too?
The soil here is perfect for growing grapes, especially the Richensteiner grapes which make a dry white wine – the perfect match for seafood, white meat or just nibbles at the bar. We produce 300 – 500 bottles of wine made with love by Three Choirs vineyard in Gloucestershire, and we sell our 2011 Pengethley Estate wine for £17 a bottle in our bar & restaurant.
Do you have any plans for the future?
Yes, we will be opening three glamping units in our stunning grounds. They’re vintage style, perfect for snuggling up in, with wood fires and amazing views. They will be styled like a gorgeous hotel bedroom with beautiful vintage interiors and we’re very excited about them. Also, from November 2016 we will be offering beauty treatments and massage – keep an eye on out!
